My Organic Beauty Routine | Natural Skincare and Makeup
I’ve had so many requests to share my natural, organic beauty routine with you. So here it is! I will be sharing the natural way I moisturize and care for my skin, as well as the healthy, natural makeup brand I almost exclusively use and recommend.
The products I use for my skin care are raw, natural and organic, which means that they can be multi-purposed for skin, hair, and body care, and are budget-friendly.
I will be sharing why it is important to be conscious of what we use in our beauty routine and how it can affect our overall health. I share why I almost exclusively use the natural brand “100% Pure” makeup, and talk to you about my friend Jessica’s all natural hand-crafted cream that she is now selling!

Everything in the world is a chemical. Nothing exists without them and most aren’t harmful unless at a high or dangerous level which the average company would never sell to people, they want your money, not a lawsuit. It’s the dose that makes the poison. Drink too much water and you’ll die. Would take a whole lot of rubbing whatever mainstream cream on your skin to do literally anything let alone harm you. I like looking for more ‘natural’ alternatives for cost and eco sake but please don’t fall for chemical fear mongering, it’s on the same level as greenwashing. Natural and synthetic products can exist on the same quality level.

Thank you for this advice! I’m going to try red raspberry seed oil as a serum and rosewater as a primer under it, which looks like a very good idea, plus, even though the butter you used looked nicer, I’m going to buy raw Shea butter as a top coat, to save money.

You are wonderful. Yet I believe this is far too many products (oils/creams) on your skin and also massage should never be pulling on your skin and stretch it.

How do you remove your makeup? Looking for more natural yet effective options. I use coconut oil but it doesn’t seem to work the greatest and may be making my skin break out…

Chemistry and physiology are not the "solved", well-studied field most people think they are. Scientists do not know the effects and interactions of all skincare and makeup products. There’s "scientific"-minded people in this comments section calling it paranoia and fear-mongering for someone to be wary and want to opt out of that, and I bet they have only ever gotten their makeup and skincare info from magazines and youtubers, not research papers.

My favorite has been tallow butter. I now make my own. It’s the least processed skin care possible. Lots of seed oils can be highly processed. I no longer eat any seed oils so I stopped using them for my skin as well (even though they are mostly toxic when heated). I also buy lots of products from 100% Pure. Glad their mascara works for you. It always ended up under my eyelids within an hour so I had to find another natural mascara that would stay on.

100% pure has Titanium Dioxide which is very bad for skin ll Can titanium dioxide cause cancer?
But that depends on how titanium dioxide is being used and how you might come into contact with it. The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has classified titanium dioxide as possibly carcinogenic to humans based on studies that showed more lung tumors in rats associated with breathing in titanium dioxide.
