This is such an interesting and informative video. Even though I have and use most of the spices you mentioned, it is refreshing to see your perspective living in the Mediterranean area of the world. Love it! 👍🏻

Kashmir has the best variety of saffron.. Period!!
That’s great! Thanks.
I went to the link to download the PDF and the first thing it had me do was sign up for the newsletter, which I did not mind doing. But I don’t know where I’m supposed to get the PDF now. Please help🙏
Excellent video! I’ve started experimenting more with herbs and spices since starting the Mediterranean Diet two months ago. I didn’t know I liked mint, parsley, and sumac! My favorite spice blend is homemade dukkah. Love your channel. ❤
Hi Caroline! I am sitting here drinking a turmeric almond milk latte laced with turmeric, pepper, ginger, and cinnamon. I have a shocking amount of spices that I use regularly 😊 Is your picture in the background crocus petals? Have a great week!

Great video Carolyn. I bought some saffron on our trip to Spain and haven’t used it yet. What’s your favorite way to use it?
Another, awesome video. 2 years ago, i started my first raised bed herb garden. I am having so much fun with fresh, dried, and frozen herbs. But still learned so many delightful tips from this video. I will be watching it again soon. Caroline, you have so much talent and knowledge. We appreciate all you share with us. Thanks for everything you do. PS love your book!!!
❤❤❤ Thank you
Very helpful video! I just discovered herbs de Provence. Trader Joe had some and I’m not sure exactly how and when to use them. I have sprinkled them in scrambled eggs, & seasoned meat (chicken & fish) and veggies with it. I love the taste even if that is not how you typically use them. I would love a recipe that featured it.
Can talk or share kichen pots /pans / tool you use?
Thanks Caroline ❤ i love spices.
I so enjoy your channel and just received your new book. BTW, I love your little linen jumpers and that beautiful purple picture behind your shoulder. So calming!! Can’t wait to jump in and go with these tips….Sometimes I think I have to know it all before jumping in, but I need to just start and adjust. Thank yoU!!
Thank you for the basics! I think herbs – and especially spices – are under-appreciated.
My world was ROCKED when I threw out my seven year-old spices and bought some fresh stuff. And then, when I learned how to bloom (or gently fry) most of them, my head exploded when the flavor bomb hit it.
Thank you for taking the time to film this. The production quality is beautiful. <chef’s kiss>
Had to make a quick stop at the grocery store half way through your video and purchased sumac. Now to try it!🎉
Loved the video – thank you. I am a fan of sumac, thyme, and tarragon. I use them a lot.
so glad i stumbled on this video, great info, thank you
